Acer one of the leading manufacturer of Laptop has announced another Acer series Laptop model named Acer Aspire 5742G Laptop. Acer takes an inexpensive chassis and fills it with currently popular components. The Acer Aspire 5742G speeds up applications with a Core i5-450M and a whole 8 GB of RAM (2x 4GB). NVIDIA's GeForce GT 540M is added. It supplies a high 3DMark 2006 score (7458) and is basically on par with AMD's HD 5650 and HD 6550M.
